YOD is here!

On Saturday 13th October at 1pm BST we will release the last of our allocation of YOD figures for sale through store.amostoys.com. These are open for anyone to buy. We think they will probably go fast.

All YODs will start shipping during the week beginning October 15th.

We advise that anyone planning to purchase a YOD figure that has not already registered and set up a store profile, should do so before the release.

INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER
Click HERE then scroll down the opening page to Your Account and click Sign Up. Then complete the form as instructed.

We've tried to address the problem of the server crashing too. Hopefully the massive increase in traffic will only slow the site down rather than cause complete meltdown! Fingers crossed...

Hi Russell,
When are the Keychains & Yod T-shirts going up on the UK site?. Had a look at the japanese site and they look great.
Cheers,
Mark.

I didn't get a Yod. It was a bit like trying to get glastonbury tickets. Bit sad about that.

Why is Yod still avaliable in the Japanese store but not in the UK store?

Sorry to all who didn't get a YOD. It's a difficult one. We had so few to share out. We have to keep numbers limited for practical reasons. We simply can not afford to make lots. Too risky. We will try and get quantities right in the future. But there will be another YOD version coming in a few weeks. This will accompany a new James Jarvis book. More news soon.

As for the stuff on the Japan site. We hope to have the tees and keychains in a few weeks. Plus a restock of mugs and VM Japan edition books, some special KK tees and other bits. The YOD tees may take a few weeks longer but we should get some.

Finally, there do seem to be some YODs left in Japan. Clearly not as popular there as here. Must be all the deep Western philosophy involved in it's cration! I will see if we can work out a way for people outside to get there hands on them. In principle they will ship abroad but it is the language barrier that causes problems. Watch the blog for news if I can arrange anything. Can't promise!

I played around using google to translate the Japanese site. Seems when entering your address you have to pick from a drop down list of Japanese cities.
Also here's a translation of the terms and conditions bit...

"We receive orders from 5 business days to ship goods.
The online orders are shipped to Japan only and will keep them in our infrastructure. "

Ahh well, I tried!
