More In-Between Days.

Another bunch of bands have confirmed for the Amos curated ATP In-Between Days Festival in December.

Autolux whose recent LP, Transit Transit, has been very well received in all quarters.

Factory Floor whose founding member Gabe Gurnsey used to work with us at Amos/Silas.

Ulrich Schnauss, king of dreamy electronic shoegaze.

Holy Fuck whose trance inducing electronic funk-rock is a live spectacle.

Connan Mockasin who make some very pleasant off-kilter soft psyche.

And we managed to get a bit of Metal too.

Nachtmystium , former purveyors of orthodox USBM, but now producing some very dark, substance abused, goth rock (retaining some of the BM chaos).

And last but no means least, from Japan, the mighty Corrupted; lords of epic, super heavy, stoned Doom-Meditational sounds. Saw this band play last year and they were incredible!

There'll also be movies, TV, a bit of art, and other events throughout the 4 days. We'll post more updates nearer the time. For tickets and information go to the ATP site: www.atpfestival.com/events/inbetweendays2010.php

Spread the Wisdom...

Caleb ambles through life at his own particular pace. Nothing of any consequence seems to happen. His friends and acquaintances include a squirrel and a belligerent sparrow. He loves donuts, sausages and getting lean. His observations are oblique and sometimes profound. Perhaps he is an urban mystic for right now.

The Wisdom of Caleb is a new cartoon blog, created for Amos by James Jarvis and Russell Waterman. It’s slow, quite odd and not particularly funny. But don’t let this stop you from checking it out daily at:
