King Ken on Your Doorstep.

These rugs are the result of a collaboration between Amos Japan and Gallery 1950. They are approximately 700mm in diameter and made from 100% acrylic. They come in black, brown and an Amos exclusive pink colourway.

Due to the expensive price tag on this product we will not be holding any stock at the Amos online store. In fact they will be very hard to come by outside of Japan. However, due to popular demand we will, for a very limited time, be taking pre-orders for those hardcore Ken fans who maybe interested in grabbing one of these.

The KK Rug presale will begin this Thursday, August 20th at 1PM BST and end on Saturday, August 29th, exact time to be announced later. THIS IS A PRESALE. Although funds will be taken now, delivery is planned for early December.

So if you might be interested in this rather special KK piece then come and find us at www.store.amostoys.com from this Thursday.

We should have bets on how much - I am thinking £65 each. But I am hoping nearer £1 ;o)

Arron, I wish they were GBP 65. I think that would be reasonable for a 700mm pile rug.Actually that is the approximate price in Japan. No we are talking a lot more I'm afraid. Try GBP 110. Sorry they are so expensive. A weak GBP and greedy HMRC.

Hence the pre-sale!

Well that was a painful transaction but order placed! I think I must be nuts ;o) - I hope you guys see some of this dosh Russell! I also hope these are on a limited run and they wont appear in every toy store on earth in 6 months time.

Arron, thanks for ordering a rug. Like I said. Apologies for the steep price.

And I can guarantee that these won't appear in every toy shop on earth in 6 month. As far as I know there is no distribution other than that in Japan. That means that anyone buying them (shops as well) will have to buy from Japan. One or two may stock them but no more than that. We are certainly not selling them to other stores. These will be very exclusive.
